Rick Moranis (born April 18, 1953) is a Canadian actor, comedian, musician, songwriter, writer, and producer. He gained prominence as part of the sketch comedy duo Bob and Doug McKenzie with Dave Thomas, which was featured on SCTV.

Moranis took a break from on-screen acting in the late 1990s to focus on raising his children after his wife's death. While largely retired from live-action films, he has done voice work in animation, including Brother Bear (2003) and Brother Bear 2 (2006). He released a country album, The Agoraphobic Cowboy, in 2005, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. In 2020, it was announced that Moranis would reprise his role as Wayne Szalinski in Shrunk, a sequel to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, however, the project was later scrapped.
